- The SAFETY WASH SYSTEM is made up of six simple components: the end
stoppers, sash cleat, and 3/8" O/D tubing are made of 6/6 nylon;
the sash support line is 156lb. test Spectra® cord with a monofilament
core; the internal components consist of one variable sized steel extension
spring, and one zinc coated steel; O-ring.
- The SAFETY WASH SYSTEM is available in 9 different stock sizes to fit windows from

- SpectraŽ Cord
In the mid 1980s, AlliedSignal Inc. (now Honeywell) introduced SpectraŽ fiber an entirely new type of synthetic yarn. With outstanding toughness, SpectraŽ fiber can withstand high-load strain-rate velocities. Light enough to float; it also exhibits high resistance to chemicals, water, and ultraviolet light. It has excellent vibration damping, flex fatigue and internal fiber-friction characteristics. SpectraŽ fiber is used in numerous high-performance applications, including police and military ballistic-resistant vests, helmets and armored vehicles, as well as sailcloth, fishing lines, marine cordage, lifting slings, and cut-resistant gloves and apparel.
- Nylon 6/6
Nylon 6/6 is strong and tough even when exposed to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. The most important properties are:
Toughness at high and low temperatures
Resistance to repeated impact
Retention of mechanical properties and dimensions at
high temperature
Resistance to abrasion, organic solvents, oils and
gasoline
Can be molded into thin, tough, strong shapes
and excelent Lubricity properties.
